Thomas's Hamburgers began in 1945 when my grandfather, Thomas Sr., opened a small roadside burger stand in the heart of West Virginia. With just a grill, a dream, and a secret recipe he'd perfected over years, he set out to serve the best burger anyone had ever tasted.
That original recipe became legendary. Word spread quickly, and soon people were driving from all over the state to taste what made Thomas's burgers so special. In the 1960s, my father expanded the stand into the classic diner you see today - complete with red vinyl booths, chrome accents, and that authentic retro atmosphere.
Now, as the third generation to run Thomas's, I'm proud to carry on the family tradition. We still use the exact same recipe, still source our ingredients from the same local farm up the road, and still serve every customer with the same warmth and care that my grandfather did over 75 years ago.
